Open Letter to Sting

I think its time to take it back to the raw basics ... things have become too polished. Maybe lock your self and band mates up with some minimal equipment (like a PA, an organ, a drum kit, a p-bass, and a tele). I can't imagine the muse not speaking out of that ...

When ready take it to the studio; no effects, no gimmicks, just the pure Luv.

I sincerely hope you'll teach again. Something along the lines of an arts school tailored towards the creation and performance of 'conscious' popular music. There are few qualified to teach the craft you've undertaken with the rigor of an eastern sage to master.

Thanks for laying out some of the steps toward spiritual inquiry within your music ... I really feel like I've truly benefited from your work in the past and would love to see you up the ante.

Humbly Yours,

Siri Dhyan - 1/26/2005

UPDATE: This 5/30/2014 TED talk from Sting seems relevant ;)
